This page sets out how to keep gambling under control and where to find independent help. It also explains, plainly, what this site can and cannot do about that control, so readers know where to look for it.
Practice
Decide the amount you are willing to spend before you start, and treat that amount as already spent rather than as money you expect to get back. This removes the pressure to keep going in order to "recover" a loss, since there is nothing left to recover.
Never chase a loss by increasing a stake to make up for an earlier one. Chasing usually just turns one loss into a bigger one, because the outcome of the next bet has nothing to do with the last.
Keep gambling money separate from money that is borrowed, owed, or needed for daily living. Spending borrowed money on gambling adds a debt on top of the loss itself.
Take breaks during a session rather than playing in one continuous stretch. Stepping away for even a few minutes makes it easier to notice how much time or money has actually gone into play.
If gambling stops feeling like entertainment and starts feeling like an obligation, or if it is affecting money set aside for other things, talk to someone about it early. It is easier to act while the situation is still small.
Support
Every page on this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au, and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. Those links are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial: unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of them.
Each of the ten operator listings ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice. The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout the site, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing.
Limits
Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods, or self-exclusion belong to an operator account. This build has no account, no form, and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch one of those controls on, check it, or enforce it. A reader who wants any of them has to set it up inside an account at the operator's own site.
Nobody's age is verified on this site, and no gambling takes place on it; any check of that kind happens at the destination after an operator link is followed. Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site: each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that moment the destination's own rules, checks, and account controls apply, not anything published here.
No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour.
